Reichsbanknote of $1,000 Mark, 1922.

Have a red overprint that says: "1 Milliarde Mark", which means that the Banknote it's of: $1,000,000,000 (Billion) Marks.

History.-

These Banknotes were initially issued as $1,000 Mark, however, during the 1923 hyperinflation, printing new notes was too expensive and too difficult (as the nominal values very often had to be changed quite fast), so, they used overprints to change the notes nominal values.
